7. Ashland’s Motives Are Questioned 

Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers for next week hint that Ashland’s motives will be questioned. Added teasers state that this will be coming from both Nikki and Victor, at first. It sounds like there will be some suspicions around Ashland’s medical condition and recovery. Could the Moustache sniff out the fact that Locke has been lying about this all along?

6. The Michael Baldwin Factor

Possibly one of the best moves Victor made was recruiting Michael Baldwin back into his business. Y&R spoilers reveal that the Moustache and the lawyer will get together over the coming days for another strategy session. There’s a good chance Victor will turn to Baldwin with his suspicions about Locke and ask him to investigate.

5. Michael Connects With Nate

Y&R spoilers for the week of January 31st indicate that Michael will track down Nate and grill him. Dr. Hastings probably won’t reveal anything about Locke’s health specifically, due to doctor-patient confidentiality. Despite this, it looks like Baldwin may get some information that could support the idea that Ashland has been lying about his condition this entire time.

4. Lauren’s Worried

Speaking of Michael, Y&R spoilers imply that Lauren will deal with concerns around her hubby and his new job. After all, he was supposed to retire to take a load off — not dive into more work! Is Michael spending too much time doing Victor’s bidding, and not enough with his wife? She may also worry about him being a part of the Newman family drama, rather than enjoying his retirement.
