12. Diane’s Not Here To “Set Things Right”

Actor Peter Bergman (Jack Abbott) was recently interviewed with Soap Opera Digest. Offering some Y&R spoilers of his own for “what’s ahead”, he made it crystal clear (as per Soaps.com) that Diane’s return will be explosive. While Jenkins will tell him, upon seeing her ex, that she wants to “fix” mistakes of the past, Abbott will feel as if she’s up to something. Added teasers seem to hint she certainly is up to no good.

11. Jack’s Relationship With Allie Takes A Hit

Allie isn’t overly trusting of Jack as it is, and she will be present when Diane reveals herself to Jack. While the two are making strides to build a grandfather / granddaughter bond, Jenkin’s return will place a wedge between Allie and Abbott. Y&R spoilers seem to tease that Allie will recoil as soon as she sees Abbott’s reaction to Diane, and the proverbial poop hits the fan. This means Jack will have even more of an uphill battle ahead of him in order to establish a relationship with her.

10. Phyllis Runs To His Side

Mr. Bergman also notes that Phyllis will call Jack while he’s confronted by Diane, and notice something “off” in his voice. Red won’t hesitate, and head to L.A. herself. Therefore, it sounds as if Jack won’t be the only Y&R character who reunites with Diane Jenkins in April. It also looks like the Diane/Phyllis rivalry will start up again!

9. Kyle’s Set To Return

It has been confirmed that Kyle will return to Genoa City soon, and Michael Mealor will reprise the role. In addition, the actor has inked a long-term contract with the show, which means Kyle’s comeback is a (somewhat) permanent thing. Will Summer and little Harrison return, as well?

8. Summer Speculation

Unfortunately, actress Hunter King (Summer) is unable to return to Y&R full-time at this moment, due to other obligations. Mrs. Newman-Abbott (and Kyle) have been seen onscreen now and again since they both left Genoa City last fall. The soap had announced a casting call for the role of Summer, although nothing has been confirmed. Her return to Genoa City will likely occur at the same time as Kyle’s, or shortly thereafter.

7. Summer Versus Diane

How much damage can Diane cause in Genoa City? The good news is that Jack won’t easily fall for her antics, and he’ll be #TeamPhyllis all the way. The bad news is, she’ll likely manipulate Kyle. The two were very close, once upon a time. With Summer being Red’s daughter and now Diane’s daughter-in-law, will a new rivalry emerge from the shadows?

6. Ashland Continues To Scheme

Y&R spoilers note that Ashland will continue scheming in April. He’d better act fast. This past week, Victoria made it clear to her family that they are not to get involved in her marriage, or how she deals with her hubby. She’s been lovey-dovey with Ashland all week and is officially planning a vacation in Tuscany. All seems to be going well for the Locke-Ness, so what’s the reason behind the strategizing? What else does Ashland have in store? Does he suspect that Vic’s up to no good?

5. Business As Usual

As mentioned, Victoria has confirmed to her family that she’s handling things, which means she’s got a plan of her own. In typical Newman style, Y&R spoilers suggest that Vic will do all she can to maintain appearances. This likely means ensuring a “business as usual” attitude, so that Locke doesn’t suspect what she has up her sleeve. Sounds like she’ll also have no issue at social and corporate events with Ashland by her side, PDA and all. She must make him feel comfortable enough to bring his guard down.

4. The Hunter Becomes The Hunted

Since Vic is clearly onto Ashland, the hunter will now become the hunted. Victoria has plans to take Ashland to Tuscany, but it’s hard to see exactly what will roll out. Will she sneakily have him sign a contract relinquishing his authority over Newman-Locke? Perhaps she’ll get him to sign separation papers?

3. Will Vic Go Too Far?

Could Victoria take things “too far” in Tuscany? Maybe she’ll have Locke kidnapped, and forcibly get him to sign over his rights to Newman-Locke. Perhaps he’ll get tied up and tortured until he does what she says. Could she have him axed? She’s been duped, and as her father’s daughter, she’ll want Locke to pay.

2. Billy Wants To Poke His Nose Into Things

Victor has already tried to put Billy in his place. While yes, he’s the father to Vic’s children, Abbott’s no longer part of the Newman family and, in the Moustache’s mind, has zero say in how to move forward with things. But, knowing Billy-boy, he’ll still try to poke his nose into matters that are none of his business or concern.

1. Lily Puts A Stop To It

Y&R spoilers suggest that sometime in April, Lily will try and put a stop to Billy’s podcast. Does he offer up his insights on Ashland Locke, or the Newmans? His relationship with Victoria? There has to be a good reason why Winters would kibosh a project that her boyfriend has been so passionate about.
