Hunter King won’t be returning to Genoa City anytime soon! The former Young and the Restless (Y&R) star has just signed on to star in several new Hallmark projects.
Under King’s newly inked deal, which was first reported by Deadline, Hallmark Media will assign her a variety of projects over the coming years.
The actress began her relationship with Hallmark Channel earlier this year with an original movie, Hidden Gems, as well as Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths. Next up for King is a starring role on A Royal Corgi Christmas, which will premiere on Friday, November 25th.

The former soap star, who portrayed Summer Newman on Y&R from 2012 to 2022, earned two Daytime Emmys for the role.
This news will be a tough pill to swallow for Y&R fans who are still pining for King to return to the CBS soap. The star left the soap opera after her contract negotiations reached a stalemate last year.
“I loved playing Summer,” King said after leaving the role. “There are a variety of things that happened, but I hope to always have Summer in my life in some capacity. What the role will continue to look like, I’m not sure yet, but I know that I hold her very near and dear to my heart.”
Luckily for viewers, the role has since been recast with Allison Lanier, who’s doing a great job.
