Rachel Recchia is getting back out there!
The former Bachelorette opened up during an episode of the “Bachelor Happy Hour” podcast with Michelle Young and Becca Kufrin. The 26-year-old pilot revealed that the new man she’s dating is not from Bachelor nation and is someone “random” who slid into her DMs on Instagram.
Recchia opened up about the shift from dating on a TV series to dating in the real world. “I don’t know how to date not on a camera,” she shared. “I’m like, how do you date outside of sitting down and being like, ‘Tell me everything about your life right now in this next five minutes — go!’ … Do I give him a date card? Do I say, ‘Meet me at the coffee shop, XO, Rach?’ What do I do?”
Recchia was a co-lead on the most recent season of The Bachelorette alongside Gabby Windey. She gave her final rose to Tino Franco and got engaged during the finale, but he later confessed to cheating after the proposal.
Rachel also opened up about her relationship with her co-lead, Gabby, who also recently broke off her engagement to fiancé Erich Schwer. “Whatever support and whatever she needs right now, I’m gonna try to give to her,” Rachel said. “Just because we all know how difficult it is, especially in the public eye.”
