Actor Stanley Tucci, 53, and wife, Felicity Blunt, were very happy to announce they are expecting their first child together.
Felicity and Stanley were introduced through Felicity’s sister, Emily Blunt, after her and Stanley co-starred in the 2006 film, The Devil Wears Prada.
The two became engaged in 2011 and were married secretly in 2012, however they followed it with a formal wedding ceremony a couple months later, in a more star-studded event.
Steve Buscemi was the best man and Emily was of course maid of honor, while other attendees included John Krasinski, Meryl Streep, Colin Firth and Julianne Moore.
This will be the first child for Felicity, who is a literary agent but it will be the fourth for Tucci.
Stanley was previously married to Kate Spath-Tucci from 1995-2009 when she sadly passed away after a battle with breast cancer. The two had three children together.
Stanley and Felicity made their big announcement to US Weekly while at the Mario Batali Foundation Dinner at Del Posto in New York City on Sunday, “I’m very excited to be a dad. It’s incredible. I’m most excited to have a baby with felicity and for the baby to be healthy,” Tucci told the magazine.
The news is exciting for everyone, especially Felicity’s sister Emily who welcomed a daughter, Hazel, with husband John Krasinski, eight months ago and now the two sister’s who are very close will have children around the same age.
Stanley can next be seen in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 as he reprises his role as Caesar Flickerman.
