After a few exits right before season 12, Bravo’s hit series Real Housewives of Orange County has announced the return of a former star, and it may be surprising!
According to reports, Lydia McLaughlin is set to make her return to the series after she was full-time star for season eight but did not return following the season. After her exit from the series, McLaughlin stated, “It’s bittersweet. I compare it to breaking up with a boyfriend you know you’re not going to end up with — it’s hard but overall you know you’re doing the right thing.”
McLaughlin’s return to RHOC comes after reports that stars Meghan King Edmonds and Heather Dubrow will not be on season 12.
For right now Bravo has not commented on the exit of Edmonds or Dubrow, or the addition of McLaughlin and has also not announced the pick up of new episodes for a twelfth season but it seems they are getting their cast in place.
McLaughlin and her husband Doug have now been married for almost 11 years and in November 2014, following her exit from the show, the pair welcomed their third child, a son named Roman.
