Former NCIS actress Pauley Perrette is back on the right track after what she described as a few very difficult years.
The actress, who stars in the new series Broke, took to her Twitter to interact with fans about how her life is going now at 50 while starring in a new CBS comedy.
“I’m so exhausted and SO FREAKIN HAPPY shooting my new show #Broke on @CBS,” she began.
She then added that while she is happy now, it has been a tough road. “I want to thank all y’all that supported me through a few devastatingly difficult years,” she said. “I’m so happy and healthy now and having a blast. THANK YOU positive people for helping me and being kind Love y’all!”
Perrette is starring in the new comedy Broke as Jackie, a single mother and bar owner who takes in her once well-off sister and brother-in-law after he is cut off from his rich father.
The new series showed that the actress had no ill-feelings toward CBS after previously leaving NCIS after 15 seasons and alleging that she had suffered multiple physical assaults on set. When asked if she would ever return to NCIS in a guest spot she addressed her fans on Twitter. “NO I AM NOT COMING BACK! EVER! (Please stop asking?),” she tweeted. “I am terrified of Harmon and him attacking me. I have nightmares about it. I have a new show that is SAFE AND HAPPY! You’ll love it! #HappyPlace Love y’all!”
