It’s a reality star love triangle!
Days after outlets reported that Big Brother and Ex on the Beach star Paul Calafiore cheated on girlfriend, Bachelor in Paradise alum Danielle Maltby, with MTV’s The Challenge star Cara Maria Sorbello, the 29-year-old is speaking out.
“I am not proud of my actions these past weeks,”he told E! News. “I know they speak louder than these words. I have destroyed the one person that has believed in and brought out the best in me. I have many things I need to work on and repair internally. I want to be better. I know I haven’t earned it, but I ask for patience and privacy while I work on repairing myself.”
Rumors of Calafiore’s hookup with Cara Maria came after the pair spent time filming the upcoming season of The Challenge and were spotted at a Challenge Throwdown for the Cause event holding hands. Calafiore was also spotted on Cara Maria’s Instagram story where she says “Nobody has to know” and seems to be holding hands with a person with the same pinky ring as Calafiore.
“Danielle was completely blindsided by this,” her rep said. “She is hurting tremendously and would appreciate privacy at this time.”
Fans of all the reality stars involved were upset by the news as Maltby and Calafiore had just made their relationship official back in January and seemed very happy. Meanwhile Cara Maria was known for calling out her Challenge co-star for cheating on the show, with a fan tweeting at her, “UGH @CaraMariaMTV…DO YOU KNOW HE IS A SERIAL CHEATER!? Not only did he cheat on his current girl with you, but he also cheated on his Ex-Fiance WITH 5 DIFFERENT GIRLS!!! I thought you were all about women empowerment!?” She replied to the tweet with, “I’m single you.”
