Lady Gaga made her much anticipated appearance on the 2019 Oscars’ red carpet wearing a sharp black ensemble designed by Alexander McQueen.

Many are speculating that the little black dress look was an ode to Audrey Hepburn and her classic film, Breakfast at Tiffany’s. Her look featured a Cinderella-style dress with a sharp structural detail on the hips. She topped the look with sleek leather gloves and wore her hair in a Hepburn-esque updo. Aside from the hairstyle that resembles Holly Golightly, the jewelry Gaga opted for also honored the iconic film. Gaga donned a 128.54-carat Tiffany & Co diamond which was last worn by Hepburn in 1962 for publicity posters for Breakfast At Tiffany’s. Gaga’s styling of the piece tonight marks only the third time in history that the Tiffany diamond has been worn.
