Kelly Ripa appeared on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon — and got completely soaked!
The 43 year-old host of Live! With Kelly and Michael played a pop culture trivia game with Jimmy, agreeing to wear a pointed hat attached to the water balloon. It was pretty simple: depending on the person’s answer, the person would be lifted closer to the balloon. A right answer would make the other person move closer to the balloon, while a wrong answer would make the player closer to getting soaked.
Luckily, Kelly was allowed to wear a big yellow rain poncho over her nice clothes. Jimmy took more of a risk by sitting in the chair in just his suit!
Kelly held her own in the competition, as they both answered questions about The Big Lebowski, Kanye West, Stevie Wonder and more. “This is terrible, this is dreadful,” Kelly said when she missed a question about an album she said she owned. “You’re supposed to ask me about stuff I know!”
Apparently, Kelly also didn’t know that her show garnered such high ratings — it’s actually the most popular syndicated talk show on television.
