With their rocky relationship now water under the bridge, it seems that Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears could very well be teaming up to make music!
Just recently Spears herself said that she would like to collaborate with her former flame, and of course, fans latched onto that statement with a lot of hope. In a Q&A with fans, Spears was asked who her dream collaborators were and she responded: “Aerosmith seems really good and bright. He’s a genius I think. He’s very rock n’ roll. He sings from his soul. Gwen Stefani, I think she’s great. Justin Timberlake is very good.”
Not too long after, E! News reporter Marc Malkin caught up with Timberlake while on the red carpet for the Toronto International Film Festival where he told the singer/actor what Spears said, and asked Timberlake if he would be interested.
“She did!?” he responded. “Sure! Absolutely, absolutely,” he added looking completely shocked and confused, but still open to it. “I have a 17 month old so I don’t get the headline news,” he explained. “I apologize for not being in the know… I’m accessible, give us a call!”
In the meantime, Timberlake was busy at TIFF promoting his Netflix concert documentary film Justin Timberlake + the Tennessee Kids which premieres on October 12 only on Netflix.
