Are you ready to go full mermaid?
Hilary Duff has returned from vacation with mermaid-blue-green (dare we say aquamarine?) hair. Her formerly blonde locks aren’t just dip-dyed — she’s blue from the root!
The 27 year-old actress and singer posted a photo of herself on Instagram, showing off her new blue locks set against a white outfit. “@Ambahhh turned me into a mermaid last night,” she wrote, giving credit to her hairstylist. It wasn’t long before she got 124,000 likes!
Later, Hilary posted a brighter photo of the ‘do — and her dinner. “Mermaids luuh sushi,” she wrote as a caption, adding the hashtag “sugarfish” (which is a trendy sushi restaurant in Los Angeles).
The new hair color comes just a few days after Hilary made headlines for using social media to show off her toned abs in a skimpy bikini and to encourage other moms to love their bodies.
Hilary isn’t the only celeb trying drastic hair changes; Kylie Jenner also recently sported blue hair similar to Hilary’s — and even has her own line of brightly colored hair extensions — but she’s now gone back to her natural dark brown.
