Dancing with the Stars is narrowing down its group to a few top contenders. This week, the contestants and their pro partners paid tribute to the legendary rock group Queen.
Following the performances, it was Mike “The Miz” Mizanin and Witney Carson that were eliminated from season 30 of Dancing with the Stars on Monday. The couple scored 32 out of 40 for their foxtrot to “Radio Ga Ga,” which was critiqued by the judges for being a little too tense.
“The dance has got to be a little bit more natural,” Len Goodman said, while Bruno Tonioli added jokingly, “I blame the muscles, darling! You were a bit tight at the beginning — very muscular!”
Along with Mike and Witney was surprisingly JoJo Siwa and Jenna Johnson who also landed in the bottom two. Fans were shocked that these two were at the bottom of the leaderboard considering that their disco-inspired tango to “Body Language” earned them a 39 out of 40. “JoJo, that was a tempting, tantalizing tango!” Derek Hough gushed. “Yo, that was so avant-garde, experimental. I absolutely loved it!”
When it came to which couple in the bottom two the judges wanted to save, it was JoJo and Jenna that they gave another chance.
Next week, the eight remaining contestants on season 30 will perform to the theme of music by pop icon Janet Jackson and will face another double elimination. Dancing with the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
