Rena Sofer is ending her time as Quinn Fuller on The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B).
Sofer had hinted at big news in an Instagram post on Wednesday, August 16th. And today, she’s delivered on that promise. Unfortunately, it’s sad news for B&B fans.
“Friday, August 5th was not just my daughter’s birthday but the end of my nine-year run as Quinn on The Bold and the Beautiful,” Sofer announced on Instagram.

Sofer originated the character of Quinn in 2013. Over the years she has had several major storylines and tense rivalries, making her a fan-favorite.
“I know it’s heartbreaking for some and it is for me as well,” the actress continued, “but it’s time for me to move on with both my acting career and my pottery career.”
News of Sofer’s exit will undoubtedly affect “Quarter” fans as well, since her onscreen chemistry with co-star Lawrence Saint-Victor (who plays Carter) was finally on full display.
“Thank you all for your support over the last nine years and in the future!” she concluded.
While it’s clear that Sofer made the decision to leave the role in favor of new opportunities, it’s unclear whether the role of Quinn will be recast. Her last airdate is scheduled for August 29th.
