Soaps fans may recognize Allen from her Days Of Our Lives run as Billie Reed between 1996 and 1999. The actress has also made many prime time appearances in shows such as CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, Baywatch, The L.A. Complex, What About Brian and Significant Mother.

Hunter Tylo, who originated the role of Tayler Hayes in 1990, was reportedly unavailable when the CBS soap reached out with an offer to return. There was speculation in late summer about Tylo’s status with the soap when her character did not return for the wedding of her on-screen daughter, Steffy (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). Tylo’s last appearance was in 2019.
So what will bring Taylor back to LA? It’ll have to be something bigger than her daughter’s wedding! And given that Steffy is directly in the crosshairs of Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown), Hayes’ return could spell trouble for the Forrester clan.
Allen’s first scenes on B&B will be shared with Steffy and ex-husband Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye). She will begin taping at Television City, where B&B is produced, on Thursday, October 28th. Her first episode is set to air on Friday, December 10th.
