From 2001 to 2011, the eight Harry Potter films were released, adding to the enormous franchise that took over the world.
As fans know, four different directors tackled the task of bringing the magical world of Harry Potter to the big screen which meant each film stood out in its own way and there were many differences in the films as the directors made their mark on the franchise. There is absolutely no doubt that the films were incredibly successful, but every Harry Potter fan also knows that the movies were distinctly different from the books.
