Bachelor nation turned things on its head when in 2003, the first season of The Bachelorette aired. While finding love on reality television doesn’t seem that easy, over The Bachelorette‘s 15 seasons there have been 15 proposals which is much better odds than The Bachelor‘s 23 seasons and only 14 proposals. Although not all the couples from the The Bachelorette lasted, the consistent proposals have led to bigger and more expensive rings over the years all of which are truly stunning. With season three’s Jen Schefft rejecting Jerry Ferris’ proposal, check out how much the remaining 14 engagement rings on the series cost:
15. Season 1 – Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter
The Bachelorette kicked off back in 2003 with Trista Rehn as the lead after she was the runner-up in the very first season of The Bachelor. Looking back, Rehn wouldn’t have had it any other way because as the Bachelorette she chose Ryan Sutter, who proposed with a gorgeous original cut Neil Lane ring worth an estimated $62,000. Unfortunately Rehn lost the ring, but she certainly didn’t lose Sutter. The original Bachelorette pair were married in December 2003 and have welcomed two children together. For their 10-year wedding anniversary vow renewal, Neil Lane upgraded her to a new emerald-cut diamond surrounded by a halo and twisted band with 208 diamonds in total. And since her favorite color is pink, 16 of those diamonds are pink and sit on each side of the center stone.
