The land of daytime drama is like a revolving door. One minute you may see your favorite actor or actress on Days of Our Lives (DOOL) and within a couple of weeks, they may be off to General Hospital (GH), Young and the Restless (Y&R), or Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). The reality is, while some soap stars become staples of their respective shows, there are times when they move around, try different parts and don’t necessarily come back! Below are soap stars who are unlikely to make a comeback in the soap industry.

8. James Scott
They say, ‘never say never’, but James Scott (who played EJ DiMera from 2006 to 2014) can’t say it enough! When asked by a fan whether he’d ever return to DOOL, the former actor put it plainly. “Please know that I will never. Never. Never. Never. Never. Go back to Hollywood let alone DOOL,” Scott insisted. “There is nothing interesting for me.” The NBC soap clearly got the message and later recast the character with Dan Feuerriegel, who is doing great things in the role. At least Scott was very clear about his position!
