Relationships in Hollywood can be difficult, from demanding careers with lots of travel and time away from home, in addition to a hectic social life, it’s no surprise many don’t make it. Vow renewals in a marriage are not uncommon, especially with celebrities, who are always looking for another reason to reaffirm their relationship. Here are 15 celebrity couples who renewed their vows!

15. Beyonce and Jay-Z

Beyonce and Jay-Z have quietly suffered through their fair share of marital problems, but they’ve always remained extremely loyal and supportive of each other. Her most recent album, Lemonade, seemingly confirmed rumors of infidelity in their marriage, and Jay-Z essentially confirmed those rumors in an interview with T: The New York Times Style Magazine. Despite all the rumors of a pending breakup, these two renewed their vows in 2014 in a secret ceremony during a family vacation in Corsica while celebrating Bey’s 33rd birthday.

It’s no secret that Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne have had a tumultuous relationship ever since they first wed in Maui, Hawaii in July 1982. It has been plagued by violence, drug abuse, and infidelity. There most recent separation was in 2016 when it was rumored that Ozzy had an affair with his hair stylist after Ozzy’s infidelity was outed. They’ve since reconciled. In fact, two months before their 35th wedding anniversary, they renewed their vows on Mother’s Day in Las Vegas. “For me, this was actually our real wedding day. This is the one that I will remember. Sharon and I have been through so much, and this honestly feels like a new beginning,” said Ozzy to HELLO! magazine.

David and Victoria Beckham are no doubt one of Hollywood’s most beloved couples. They first tied the knot 18 years ago, back in 1999, and are now parents to four children. In an interview on BBC Radio in January 2017, the former professional soccer player revealed he and Victoria had recently renewed their vows in an extremely small, private ceremony in their home.

11. Alec and Hilaria Baldwin

Originally married in 2012, Alec and Hilaria Baldwin celebrated their fifth wedding anniversary with a vow renewal ceremony on June 30, 2017. It all went down during a private outdoor ceremony with their closest friends. It was reported to have taken place at the Wolffer Estate Winery in Long Island, New York. “You think, like, once you get married, everything’s like, you’re done,” Hilaria told the Associated Press. “But it’s really good to say, ‘Hey I’m still in this.'” The couple shares three children together, and recently announced they are expecting a fourth child which will be a boy.

10. Viola Davis and Julius Tennon

How To Get Away With Murder actress Viola Davis and her husband, Julius Tennon, renewed their vows on Valentine’s Day in 2016! The ceremony took place in California in front of a small group of their close family and friends — including Oprah Winfrey! The couple, who originally wed in June 2003, apparently renew their vows every year. In an interview with InStyle, Davis said: “There’s no better way to feel what life is truly about than the birth of a child and getting married to someone you love—really love. It’s a reminder. A wake-up. My career is about success but my marriage and my life is about significance.”

9. Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony

Not too long before they finally parted ways, Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony exchanged vows in a joint renewal ceremony with New York Mets outfielder Carlos Beltran and his wife, Jessica. The ceremony took place at a penthouse in Ceasars Palace with only 12 guests in attendance. Lopez and Anthony originally got married in June 2004, welcomed twins in 2008, Maximilian and Emme, only to get divorced three years later in July 2011.

8. Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen

It didn’t take long for these two to renew their wedding vows. They exchanged vows for a second time in Costa Rica at Gisele’s estate in April 2009, only a few months after their first wedding in February 2009. Unlike many of the others on this list, Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen’s original wedding was extremely small and private, whereas their vow renewal included many more friends and family. When asked why they kept their first wedding so small, Brady said: “The thing about it is, the day’s for you. It’s nothing personal against anybody, but it’s not about them. It’s about what you and your wife need for that day.”

6. Tamra and Eddie Judge

Real Housewives of Orange County star, Tamra Judge, exchanged vows with husband Eddie Judge in a beautiful renewal ceremony in Aruba in August 2017. It went down in history as the Caribbean’s largest renewal ceremony! In an interview with People, she said: “It meant everything for Eddie and I to be able to ‘renew our I Do’s’ in such a picturesque setting, in the company of our family. Cheers to a lifetime of love and adventure, from the One happy island!” The two originally got married in June 2013 in a televised ceremony.

It shouldn’t be all that surprising to learn that these two have renewed their wedding vows considering Dean McDermott has proposed to former Beverly Hills, 90210 actress several times! They first got married in 2006 in Fiji. A few years later, in May 2010, they decided to declare their love for one another again, but this time in the backyard of their Beverly Hills home. The morning of their renewal, Spelling tweeted: “Beautiful day to remarry ;).”

4. Heidi Klum and Seal

Even though these two are no longer together, they seemed to be huge advocates for renewing their vows during their seven-year marriage. First married on a beach in Mexico back in 2005, supermodel Heidi Klum and Seal renewed their vows every year, and it always got a ton of press. In a 2015 interview with Andy Cohen, Seal admitted that he wasn’t actually a fan of the renewals and that it was all Heidi’s idea. “It kind of turned into a little bit of a circus, which I wasn’t terribly fond of because, by default, I’m quite a private person…I don’t know how necessary [renewing our vows] was, but it was cool,” he said.

After a decade of marriage, Rod Stewart and Penny Lancaster renewed their vows at their home in Essex, England. According to HELLO! magazine, the ceremony took place underneath a beautiful tree in their backyard. Their children were all in attendance, and Lancaster’s dog even walked her down the aisle! “Penny is my whole world. What a girl,” said Stewart to HELLO! “Love means many things to many people but to me it’s wanting to share everything with the one you love and I love Penny more now than ever, if that is at all possible.”

2. Fergie and Josh Duhamel

In 2010, after a rocky first year of marriage, Josh Duhamel surprised Fergie with a vow renewal ceremony. They first wed in a Malibu ceremony in front of hundreds of guests in January 2009. This time Duhamel arranged for them to exchange vows privately with only themselves and a minister present. He whisked her away in a private helicopter to a resort and spa in Santa Barbara where they also enjoyed a romantic dinner. Sadly, in September 2017, the couple announced they had separated earlier that year.

During a speech at Harvard University that year, he said: “It’s nice to say your vows in front of your family. That’s the point of taking the vows. These are people who will hold you to them. One of my vows was I gave her the side of the bed closer to the bathroom. And if I don’t stick to that, I’m gonna hear about that from my mom, brother and father.”
