Days Of Our Lives News Round-Up For The Week (March 7, 2022)

Calling all Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans! As summer winds down to close, there’s still plenty of drama to see in the land of Salem. What’s on tap for the next two weeks? There will be some unexpected character returns and some very unexpected character departures. Also, Sami and Nicole will continue to play dirty, and John’s condition will look dire. 14. Nicole Stirs The Pot

DOOL spoilers indicate that Eric will try and work out a compromise with sister Belle this week when it comes to the custody of Allie’s baby; however, related teasers reveal that Nicole might jeopardize all this as she aims to drive a wedge between Sami and Belle. Can Eric sway Belle onto his side, or will she see right through Walker’s game?

13. Sami Fesses Up

According to DOOL spoilers, Sami will confess something to Marlena, and this will all take her mom aback. Sounds as if she may share the moments leading up to John’s collapse, and from this week’s Days’ preview video, many, including Belle, will be quite upset with what went down right before Black was rushed to the hospital.

12. Damage Control

While it sounds as if Sami may be down, she’s certainly not out. DOOL spoilers state that she’ll bounce back this week as her grandson’s custody hearing approaches. In fact, Sami will make a major move in the courtroom, and as the week goes by, she’ll betray Eric all in an attempt to get back at Nicole. So much for that twin bond.

11. John’s Condition

Speaking of John, it doesn’t seem as if he’ll get any better this week, or next. Days spoilers suggest that he’ll still be unconscious by the Monday, August 31st, as teasers mention that Marlena will be sitting vigil at his bedside. With that said, his hospitalization will prompt a couple to return to Salem, and fans should brace themselves for a special comeback.

10. Kristen … and Brady?

Days spoilers for the week of August 31st reveal that Kristen will return to Salem, so could Brady be in tow? Added teasers for the weeks state that while at John’s bedside, Marlena will be taken aback by an unexpected visit by a loved one. Could this mean that Brady will pop back into Salem to check up on his dad?

9. Ben and Ciara

Across town, DOOL spoilers suggest that Ciara will be creeped out by Ben’s actions this week when he takes her to the spot that he strangled Paige. She’ll obviously be terrified, but it seems as if Ben will do everything he can to fight his brainwashing. Still, by this Wednesday, related teasers do add that Ciara will be stuck in a dire situation.

8. Hope and Rafe To The Rescue!

DOOL spoilers indicate that as Ben struggles, Rafe and Hope will be working overtime to find Eve and bring her to justice. Hope will also work with Ben to see if she can get any answers on her daughter’s whereabouts, as it is clear that she’ll be “missing” by the middle of the week.

7. Eve Is Brought To Justice

DOOL spoilers hint that Paige will pay a visit to Eve this week as a “vision” when actress True O’Brien reprises her role. It seems as if Paige will have Donovan experiencing second thoughts on her plan to ruin Cin. Eve will be found and arrested by mid-week (she may even turn herself in); however, by the end of this week, she and Ben will have a major confrontation.

6. Ben’s Still Upset

Ben will be upset even after Eve is brought to justice, and he’ll have every right to be. Not only for his brainwashing, but also the fact that while Eve will be in jail within the coming days, as per DOOL spoilers for the week of August 31st, it seems as if Ciara will still be missing. She’ll be held hostage by Vincent, as he makes an unexpected confession to her.

5. Rope News

Back to Hope and Rafe, while they will be busy looking for Ciara, they’ll also be preoccupied with reunion plans. DOOL spoilers indicate the ex-couple will share a kiss, and even talk about what the future could hold between them. Sounds as if “Rope” may be a thing again. That is unless something massive comes between them.

4. Gabi and Jake

Meanwhile, DOOL spoilers also indicate that the other Hernandez sibling in Salem will also see some romance. Spoilers reveal that Jake and Gabi will finally give in to their feelings this coming week, and not only share a kiss, but also seems as if they’ll spend the night together. Added teasers indicate that Gwen will be very upset with Jake this week, so he may tell her the news; however, sadly, the coupling of Jake and Gabi won’t last too long as family issues may get in the way.

3. Eduardo Hernandez Returns

DOOL spoilers indicate that the patriarch of the Hernandez clan, Edwardo Hernandez, played by legendary soap actor A Martinez, is set to return to Salem this week. He’ll “break” into Rafe’s place, covering up his identity, and when he reveals himself, he’ll have some unwelcoming news for Rafe (and eventually Gabi).

2. Rafe and Gabi Say Goodbye

Whatever Eduardo tells Rafe, he’ll place both him and Gabi in a tough situation. The two Hernandez siblings will be forced to leave Salem (for good … or just for now), and DOOL spoilers indicate that Gabi will have to make a very hard decision. Not only do these two have to leave their new relationships, but Gabi may have to leave Ari behind.

The week of August 31st reveals a competition of sorts between Philip and Xander, as the two will battle it out for the role of CEO at Titan. Philip could be a busy bee that week, as DOOL spoilers hint that Belle and Shawn will be confronted by an old enemy, and these three have some very bad blood between them in the past. Well, Philip and Shawn, anyway!
