12. A Ghostly Return

There will be some incredible character returns this fall. First off, actress Marci Miller will reprise her Abigail character, visiting Chad as a ghost. As per the DOOL fall preview video, she’ll share a tender moment with her husband as he realizes who was behind her demise. With that said, Abigail isn’t the only character set for a major comeback.

11. Dr. Mike Horton Is Back!

One of the more stunning returns profiled in the DOOL fall preview video is Dr. Mike Horton, played by actor Roark Critchlow. What’s in store for Mike, after his over-decade-long hiatus? Fans will have to tune in to find out! Other interesting character comebacks include Rex Brady (played by actor Kyle Lowder) and Eli Grant (played by actor Lamon Archey). Eli will only be in town for a short while, bringing the twins to Salem for a holiday visit.

10. Orpheus Causes Chaos

According to Days spoilers and the preview video, Orpheus will infect Kate, Marlena and Kayla with a toxic and rare virus. The women will fall suddenly ill, and scenes from the fall preview indicate that they’ll be hanging on to their last breaths. As such, Tripp (played by actor Lucas Adams) and Joey (played by James Lastovic) will return to Salem to be by Kayla’s bedside. It seems that Tripp will be looking to find (or develop) an antidote, and the preview teases that Dr. Rolf (and Kristen) may have found one. Will they help Kate, Marlena and Kayla, or leave them high and dry?

9. Heavenly Encounter?

As per the DOOL preview, it seems as if one of the ladies will need an organ transplant, and as Brady shouts “we’re running out of time”, the scene shifts to Kayla in bed with her children, Rex, Roman and Steve surrounding her. She looks tired and weak and proceeds to call out for her “Pop” (who has long since passed). In subsequent scenes, Kayla is in (what seems like) heaven, with a figure in front of her. As she turns around, she says, “it’s you!”. Will she run into Bo?

8. A New Love Triangle? 

For those Days fans who caught Beyond Salem Chapter 2, there will be another familiar face that pops up in the fall. Actress Victoria Grace will reprise her role as Wendy Shin, Li’s sister. Seems like there will be a ton of sparks between her and Johnny, as well as her and Tripp. Will there be another love triangle in Salem this autumn season? Looks like it!

7. Stephanie Warms Up To Alex… and Chad

Tripp won’t be the only Johnson juggling some romance. Days fall spoilers and the preview hint that Stephanie will experience some love, too. The soap’s fall video not only shows Ms. Johnson kissing Alex Kiriakis, but also Chad DiMera. Will she catch feelings for both men, and is there one she’s more interested in?

6. Paulina’s Past Secret

DOOL fall spoilers hint that Paulina has yet another secret from her past that could derail plans for her future. However, it seems that this secret is linked to Chanel. The preview video shows Sloan talking about an issue in Paulina’s past, which is connected to Price’s daughter. As the scene transitions, Dupree is walking towards her bakery when she sees the words “MURDERER” plastered in white paint across her storefront.

5. Eric and Nicole Give In To Temptation

DOOL spoilers suggest that Eric and Nicole will continue to circle each other. From the looks of the preview video, they’ll be working as “models” together on an ad campaign (possibly for Basic Black). The video shows that Rafe won’t be entirely pleased with the situation. Nicole and Eric will eventually break down and kiss each other, in a moment that Jada accidentally stumbles upon.

4. Gabi and Li’s Wedding

As much as Gabi tries to tempt him, Stefan will be laser-focused on romancing Chloe, according to the DOOL fall preview. And Ms. Lane won’t seem to mind the attention she’s getting from Mr. DiMera, either. Scenes in the video show that Li and Gabi will have a wedding day; however, it’s unclear if the two will actually say their “I do’s”.

3. Xandy Has A Secret

DOOL spoilers for the fall reveal that Xander’s “secrets” could rip his marriage apart with Sarah. What pops up now? When it comes to the fall preview video, Xandy is sitting with a blonde woman at a table in Horton’s square when he states, “What kind of revenge are we talking about?”. Yikes! Who does Xander want revenge on now?

2. A Major Accident

The DOOL preview ends with Jack finding a bottle of empty pills. The scene shifts to show Jennifer crying behind the wheel of a car. The preview also shows EJ alone on the road, Ava driving on her own, as well as a hysterical Susan. Banks swerves her car, and the preview ends with a vehicle jumping off the road, over a cliff and then exploding. What’ll happen next?

1. More Spoilers!

Added Days fall spoilers include Jada suddenly fainting in Rafe’s arms, which could be a medical emergency or simply because she just caught his wife kissing her boyfriend. Meanwhile, Leo is seen prancing around in the Kiriakis mansion wearing Santa PJs (which clearly means he’s a “free man” in the near future), as Victor states that it’s time for Stark to “scamper” back to Whoville. As the scene shifts, Will catches Leo and a shirtless Sonny together and proceeds to ask them, “What’s going on?”
