Then again, could her stabbing have to do with Ben? Sounds strange, but many moons ago when Ben was loopy, he and Abby were in a relationship. In fact, there was a time when he believed Thomas was his, and not Chad’s. When Ben was unstable, he tied Abigail and Chad to a bed and set the cabin on fire. Thankfully they were saved, but could Clyde still blame Chad and Abby for everything that happened to his son so long ago — despite Ben, Chad and Abigail moving on?

10. Abigail’s Goodbye

Grab some tissues, Days fans, because these next two weeks won’t only be explosive, but quite emotional, too! Now that her killer has been revealed, it looks like Abby will come back in the form of a ghost to bid a fond farewell to loved ones. She’ll visit Chad and Jennifer, and possibly others. How will this visit help move other storylines along?

9. Closure Helps Chad Move On 

DOOL spoilers reveal that Chad will not only get closure around his wife’s passing during the week of September 26th, but he and ghost Abigail will have a final farewell. After everything that goes down this week, he’ll finally be able to move on. There was a hint of chemistry between Stephanie and Chad when they shared lunch, some weeks ago. Teasers for the week of October 3rd indicate that Ms. Johnson will have her hands full, as Alex tries to pursue her, and she’ll share an interesting encounter with Mr. DiMera. Looks like there’s a new love triangle on the horizon in Salem.

8. Jenn Comes Clean… But Is Disaster On The Way?

Both the fall preview video and this week’s preview tease disaster on the horizon in Salem, as a scene flashes of Jenn behind the wheel. The good news is, she’ll come clean with both Jack and Julie about falling off the wagon. Gwen will tell her dad about her stepmom, but it’s hard to know if he’ll believe her. Will Jenn come clean of her own accord, or will she admit the truth after disaster strikes in the form of a car crash?

7. Why Is Gwen In The Hospital?

DOOL spoilers for this week note that Gwen will be badly injured and rushed to the hospital. Could she end up in a car crash caused by Jenn? Will Jennifer pop some pills and head into a vehicle, causing an accident? Maybe Rizczech will tell Jack about Jenn’s addiction issues while being carried out to an ambulance? Is that why Jennifer will come clean to Jack and Julie?

6. Could A “Xwen” Reunion Be Possible?

With his marriage to Sarah on the rocks, could Xander reunite with Gwen? Rizczech does accept Xandy the way he is! DOOL spoilers suggest that Xander will stumble across a very injured Gwen at the hospital. He’s been good at pushing her away; however, in the state she’s in, and with everything that’s happened between him and Sarah, will he stay and offer support to her and Jack? Could these two cons come back together?

5. Dr. Mike Horton’s Return!

Back to Jennifer, DOOL spoilers for the week of October 3rd imply that Mike Horton will return, and he’ll be back just in time to help his sister. Will he offer her much-needed support to get past her addiction issues, or is he in town to simply transport her to a facility? Will his comeback signal a longer run? Will fans see Dr. Horton dive back into hospital drama?

4. The Three Patients

Kayla, Marlena and Kate may need Dr. Mike to stay in town for a bit longer to help them with their ailments. Things look a tad bright for Kate this week, as DOOL spoilers note that her son, Rex, will come to a realization about her illness and possibly save her life. However, John will have some bad news for Dr. Brady during the week of October 3rd. Overall, the health of the three ladies will worsen over the next two weeks.

3. Things Will Look Dire For The Next Two Weeks…

Things will likely be touch-and-go for Kayla, Marlena and Kate over the next two weeks. Obviously, they’ll all be saved when push comes to shove, but things will look very grim for a while. Roberts might be on the mend, heading into the week of October 3rd, if Rex can figure out the root cause of her issues. Marlena, however, will worsen and there will likely be fears that Kayla could pass on!

2. Eric And Nicole Go For It!

The Days fall preview video shows Eric and Nicole “going for it”, and spoilers for the week of October 3rd indicate that Ms. Walker and Mr. Brady will succumb to temptation. Yikes! But an even bigger “yikes” is that it is also implied that both Jada and Rafe will catch the two in a compromising position. Looks like Rafe and Nicole will tack another failed marriage onto their Salem resumes.

1. What Trouble Will Surface For Paulina?

A cryptic Days spoiler suggests that outrage is on the horizon for a few Salemites at the worst possible time. Added teasers hint that Sloan will pay Paulina an unexpected visit, and during the soap’s fall preview video, the exchange between the women implies that Chanel may have done something in her past that could affect Paulina’s run for governor. What has Ms. Dupree done? Could she have had an affair with an older man? Possibly videoed a steamy encounter she’d had with two people? Are risqué pictures of her circling the internet? There is a scene in the fall preview video in which the young lady is walking towards her bakery, when she sees the word “murderer” painted on the window. Maybe she was accused of murder in the past?
