Could Olivia be the reason that Paulina didn’t take Lani to Paris, all those years ago? Was Olivia behind her daughter’s controlling marriage? Maybe she set it all up to begin with? Lani has held some resentment towards her Auntie all these years. Perhaps it wasn’t Paulina behind the disappointment, it was really Olivia.

10. Secrets Revealed

DOOL spoilers for the week of August 16th hint that Paulina will be ready to spill Olivia’s secrets, and the family’s matriarch will do all she can to stop her daughter. With that said, added teasers for the week of August 23rd note that Paulina and Abe will lean towards a reconciliation. There’s a good chance that Paulina spills the beans on her mom. If someone else was behind her recent (and past) schemes, Carver might be able to move past all of this and start over with a “clean slate”.

9. All’s Well That Ends Well!

Cin is back and in full effect! However, now that Ciara remembers her love for Ben, does this mean that Allie, Claire and Weston won’t have to worry about possible kidnapping charges? Absolutely! The trio will be cleared of all wrongdoings, plus fans should expect Ciara to apologize to Claire for all the hate thrown her way recently. The only downside to everything is poor Theo and his broken heart!

8. Cin Wedding?

DOOL spoilers tease an impromptu wedding for Cin by the time the weekend hits. Sounds like Ben may plan the entire thing and spring it on Ciara. Seems uber-romantic; however, with all that’s happened over this past year, will the young woman want to move forward with the ceremony without her mom there? Will she want something “bigger” to take place, or will she be happy with simple nuptials?

7. Why Is Claire Leaving?

Days fans should expect a Salemite to depart this week, as Claire Brady is given an offer she’ll find hard to refuse. As actress Isabel Durant leaves the soap (for now), what will have Claire saying “goodbye” to friends and family in her hometown? Sounds like her singing career might be calling once again. Could a record deal be on the horizon? Maybe she’ll take Theo along for the ride!

6. Sami’s Kidnapping

Allie will start to worry about Sami this week. While it has been confirmed that this kidnapping storyline is also Sami’s “exit” storyline (for now), will fans learn who has taken Mrs. DiMera? Could it be E.J.? Is Ava Vitali behind this all? Maybe Kristen? Over the next two weeks, Allie, Jarlena and others will wonder what’s happened to Sami. Will fans get closure on this? When will Sami return?

5. Johnny Likes Chanel… And Chanel Is Smitten, Too

Johnny DiMera will come back to the land of Salem this coming week. Days spoilers have been hinting that he’ll be smitten with Chanel; however, this week’s teasers also note she’ll be wowed with Allie’s twin as well. Johnny will hit on Chanel as soon as he arrives on the scene. Chanel will also tell Allie about this “new guy” she’s met. Sounds like Allie won’t realize that Chanel’s Mr. Right is her very own brother.

4. Allie’s Jealous

Allie will also be jealous of this new man in Chanel’s life. Without knowing who the guy is, Allie might deter her friend from jumping into anything with an “unknown” man. Allie will likely put two-and-two together about Johnny and Chanel by the week of August 23rd, if not the end of the month. She’ll feel silly about her jealousy. After all, she should want Johnny with a great gal like Chanel, and vice-versa — but she won’t. That’s because she wants Chanel all to herself!

The plot thickens! DOOL spoilers suggest that Tripp will announce something to Allie during the week of August 23rd. Does he decide to pop the proverbial question? Allie and Tripp have been dating for a while now, but still, marriage does seem a little “too soon” for the young couple. Could he proclaim his undying love for her and suggest they move in together?

2. DiMera Enterprises Tugs At Johnny

DOOL spoilers for the week of August 16th also hint that Johnny could get wrapped up in some DiMera business drama. Seems like his dad E.J. will want him to join the family company, while Chad won’t be overly pleased with the idea. Could Johnny’s uncle try to jeopardize his career success? It’s a rite of passage in the DiMera family. They can be tight but deceptive with each other, too!

1. Nicole and Rafe Get Closer

With Eric out of the picture, Nicole and Rafe will continue to get closer and closer. Meanwhile, it sounds like their friendship will not sit well with Ava, especially now that Walker is suddenly single. DOOL spoilers note that Hernandez and Ava will hit a rough patch in the next couple of weeks, all thanks to Nicole. Vitali isn’t one to keep her feelings under wraps. She’ll likely call him out on his so-called “friendship” with Walker, and tell him she thinks they are getting too close for comfort.
