Bold And The Beautiful News Round-Up For The Week (August 8, 2022)

This week’s Bold & The Beautiful (B&B) theme is all about epic weddings. Viewers will see Ridge and Brooke’s first walk down the aisle as well as her wedding to his father Eric a few years earlier. Fans will also enjoy more recent I Do’s, like Steam’s epic ceremony in Australia. Learn more below in the B&B spoilers for the week of May 4, 2020.

9. Ridge And Brooke’s First Wedding

Brooke and Ridge wed for the first time on September 30, 1994, surrounded by a large sandcastle, on a beach in Point Dume, California. As trumpets blared, Brooke rode toward Ridge on horseback. “Today I pledge to you my adoration, under dark skies and clear,” Brooke told him in her vows. “Brooke, our love has been like the mountain above us,” Ridge said to Brooke. “Over the years it has been both drenched in sunlight and shrouded in fog. And although sometimes hidden, it’s always been there.” Then they were pronounced man and wife.

8. Taylor Tries To Contact Ridge

What Bridge didn’t know, as they said their I Do’s, was that Ridge’s wife Taylor was still alive and well and desperately trying to get in touch with Ridge to stop the wedding. When she couldn’t reach him, she lay crying in her chamber. Taylor was being held captive by Prince Omar, of Morocco. Which, incidentally, is where Ridge and Brooke traveled to for their honeymoon.

7. Steam’s Australian Wedding

On March 22, 2017, Steffy and Liam were married in front of the Sydney Opera House in Australia. As Liam waited patiently for his bride, Steffy took his breath away as she arrived at the wedding by zipline. In their vows, Steffy told Liam he set her free to fly and she couldn’t wait to spend the rest of her life with him. Liam told her that he loved her for pushing him to do things he never thought he’d do.

6. Wyatt Mopes

As Steffy and Liam pledged their love to each other, Wyatt was drinking and moping at Il Giardino. He had been invited to the wedding but was still in love with his ex-wife Steffy and decided to take a pass. Seeing him there, Nicole and Zende joined him, so he wouldn’t have to drink alone. And although he was heartbroken, he told them he was happy for his brother and toasted Steam.

5. Katie And Bill’s First Wedding

Viewers will also see Katie’s first wedding to Dollar Bill on November 13, 2009. She didn’t want anything lavish and instead married the love of her life in a public park near the San Fernando Valley home where she was raised. With her sisters by her side and her father Stephen Logan, portrayed by Patrick Duffy, walking her down the aisle, Bill told Katie she took his breath away.

4. Seething Stephanie

Stephanie is also heavily featured during the Batie wedding episode. She is shown seething because Eric agreed to hold the wedding reception at the Forrester mansion. He told her he wasn’t hosting the reception, Donna was. Stephanie asked Eric why his wife would choose to support “that son of a b-tch” Bill Spencer, who stole Forrester Creations from their family.

3. Eric And Brooke Say I Do

When Brooke married Eric on January 8, 1991, Brooke’s true love Ridge and Eric’s ex-wife Stephanie were in attendance. Both were expecting their ex’s to cause trouble, but neither ended up expressing an objection. After Eric and Brooke are pronounced man and wife, viewers will once again see them celebrate their union on a breathtaking hot air balloon ride in Palm Springs, California.

2. Hope And Liam’s Italian Wedding

Hope and Liam’s wedding on a bluff by the water in Puglia, Italy on June 26, 2012 is another epic wedding that fans will be treated to this week. A large crowd of villagers gathered to watch the ceremony. Even Bill, who tried to thwart the nuptials, gave Lope his blessing. “Hope, I will love you as my daughter,” he told her. After the couple said their I Do’s, Hope, Liam, Ridge, Brooke and Bill enjoyed a group hug as the crowd sang Volare.

Great Bold And The Beautiful Couples Who Should Have Made It But Didn’t

1. Steffy Pines For Liam

Steffy tried her best to stop Liam from marrying Hope but realized it was futile. She brooded as she strolled around the small village of Puglia, Italy and thought about her wedding to Liam in Aspen. Her grandmother Stephanie called, and she told her the wedding was going ahead. Steffy then watched Lope get married from some nearby rocks and slipped and fell into the water. When she came to the surface, she pouted and lamented that it had been a horrible day.
