Bold And The Beautiful News Round-Up For The Week (August 8, 2022)

This week on the Bold & The Beautiful (B&B) Quinn is thrilled to see Flo again, but Wyatt is not so thrilled with Quinn. Also, as Hope grows closer to Thomas and Douglas, Liam and Hope’s marriage continues to fall apart. Plus, Brooke and Taylor rehash their sordid history. 9. Comforting Connection

Thomas and Hope will grow closer as they comfort each other over through their grief this week. Hope is still mourning her stillborn daughter Beth and Thomas is grieving the loss of his son’s mother Caroline. Hope will also be surprised when Thomas tells her he and Caroline were not a couple and were only living together for their son’s sake. Add that to the fact that Hope is also bonding with Thomas’ son Douglas and viewers may see the start of a Liam/Hope/Thomas triangle.

8. Douglas’ Request

Spoilers tease Douglas will ask Hope if she would like to become his new mom. This request will stun Hope, Liam and Thomas. On a recent B&B episode, Hope explained to Thomas’ son that her daughter and his mother were both in heaven and wouldn’t be able to leave. She has also bonded with Douglas, making him mac and cheese and playing with him (viewers loved their adorable performance of Baby Shark) and he’s starting to look at Hope as a mother figure.

7. Dinner For Two

Celebrity Big Brother winner Tamar Braxton guest stars this week on B&B. The R&B singer will appear as Chef Chambre, and rumor has it, she will serve up some romance to Bill and Katie, when their Cupid strikes again. A huge fan of the show, Braxton named her son Logan after Brooke Logan and was thrilled to meet Brooke’s portrayer Katherine Kelly Lang on the set in February. “She’s been in my dressing room talking to me and I’m about to faint!” Braxton gushed on her Instagram account. Will this romantic dinner lead to the Batie reunion viewers have been clamoring for?

6. Wyatt Demands An Apology

Quinn is thrilled when she sees Flo is back in town. She always thought Flo was a great match for Wyatt when the pair dated in high school. But when she makes a comment in front of Sally that Flo was a better fit for him than she is, Wyatt will be angry and demand she apologize to his girlfriend. Quinn has never been a big Wally fan but put up with her son’s relationship with Sally for his sake. Now that Flo is back in the picture, all bets are off. Will B&B fans finally get another glimpse of the manipulative, meddling Quinn they’ve come to know and love?

5. An Offer She Can’t Refuse?

Ridge will throw a wrench into Wally when he asks Sally to reconsider her move to Spencer Fashions. Spoilers tease he will offer her a head designer position at Forrester Creations. She will be torn, because Forrester is a huge name in fashion and she’s really made her mark there. On the other hand, she appreciates that Wyatt stepped up for her with Bill. If she stays at Spencer, she could run her own design house again. It will be a tough decision for Sally, but she realizes she needs to do what’s best for her career. Wyatt, however, will not be all that understanding and will be shocked when she tells him she might stay at Forrester after all. Will Sally make the move to Spencer or decide to remain at Forrester?

4. Dim Future

Spoilers suggest Liam will try to make future plans with Hope. Will he put forward the idea that they move out of the cabin on her mother’s property and get a home of their own? Another rumor making the rounds is that he may ask Hope if they can try for another baby. Hope has already stated she never wants to go through the heartbreak of losing a child again, so it’s likely that will be out of the question. Whatever Liam’s request is, spoilers say Hope doesn’t seem to have a lot of hope for their future and will shut him down.

3. Brotherly Advice

Liam will confide in Wyatt about Hope’s reluctance to move on. The way he sees it, they are stuck in Brooke’s cabin pining over things that will never be. Spoilers tease Wyatt will have a tough question for his brother. Will he ask Liam why he isn’t even considering reuniting with Steffy and his daughter Kelly? Or will he ask him if his marriage to Hope is really worth fighting for?

2. Raging Rivals

Brooke will continue to let Taylor have it when they argue about Taylor kissing Ridge. Brooke had expressed sympathy to her rival over the loss of Caroline, but when she saw Taylor in Ridge’s arms her back was up, big time. Brooke is sure Taylor was taking advantage of a vulnerable Ridge, who is grieving Caroline’s death. She will tell her rival that her unacceptable behavior needs to stop. Taylor will admit she had ulterior motives and state she has always been better for Ridge than Brooke has been. They will go over their past and, as usual with the two women, the argument will escalate. Rumor has it, Brooke will push Taylor. But just as the situation begins to spiral out of control, spoilers say Ridge will walk into the room and intervene.

Great Bold And The Beautiful Couples Who Should Have Made It But Didn’t

1. Instant Family

When Ridge tells Brooke what Taylor has suggested about their children, she will be livid. Taylor believes that since Hope lost a child and Douglas lost a mother, the two need each other. Throw in Thomas as the daddy and you’ve got an instant family. Brooke does not take kindly to the idea, especially when Ridge doesn’t totally dismiss it. She also knows Taylor would also like to see her daughter Steffy back together with Kelly’s father (and Hope’s husband) Liam. Brooke doesn’t want to see another Triangle Of Doom (echoing the thoughts of many B&B viewers). But is that what Thomas’ return is leading to? Stay tuned to find out!
