11. Clouds On the Horizon

It’s hard not to see a joyful and loving couple on daytime television as a ticking time-bomb, but that’s surely what Steffy and Finn will be this summer. For all of their achievements since getting engaged in the spring, a number of spoilers hint at darkening skies for these love-birds. Rumors continue to circulate that Finn will be a suspect in Vinny’s murder mystery, and there’s also the indication from head writer Bradley Bell that Finn’s biological mother will make herself known. Whoever this mystery mom is, she’s allegedly had run-ins with Steffy in the past.

10. House Arrest

Speaking of Vinny’s investigation, big twists are expected over the next few weeks and months. For one thing, Liam and Bill won’t spend all summer in jail; they’ll be placed under house arrest after they have a dangerous encounter in prison. Will the Spencer boys be involved in a prison fight, or receive threats that the authorities deem credible? Whatever the situation is, Justin will bargain for their house arrest — but it’ll come with some unique conditions for Liam and Bill.

9. New Suspects

Deputy Chief Baker will reluctantly agree to move Liam and Bill out from under his watchful eye, but only because the investigation will clear them of murder charges. New information will come to light, pushing the focus to Vinny’s last days as well as anyone who might’ve wished the former lab technician harm. As many viewers have long assumed, Vinny was already in a critical condition when he was clipped by Bill’s car.

8. Domesticated Or Wild?

Meanwhile, Hope and Thomas will get into a somewhat domesticated routine of looking out for one another, as well as Beth and Kelly. Will his “family life” with Hope help quell the rage that Thomas feels for Liam and Bill, or might it provide him with the ammunition he needs to carry out the revenge he’s been promising? Also, how will the dynamic change if Liam is permitted to spend his house arrest at the cabin? Fitted with an ankle bracelet, Liam would still require an extra set of hands to help Hope with daily errands. Brooke will not let this issue go!

7. His Own Investigation

As Deputy Chief Baker and Justin Barber explore new leads, Thomas will be moonlighting as a private investigator when he isn’t with Hope. Since he knew Vinny better than anyone, the Forrester might have the best chance of explaining what his friend was up to during his last days. The first order of business (for Baker and Barber, as well) will be tracking down Vinny’s girlfriend.

6. A New Threat

Judging from spoilers, it seems likely that Thomas will earn the trust of Vinny’s girlfriend first, and learn some troubling things about his old friend. Vinny was in business with some dangerous people before he died. In his quest to find out what Vinny was doing on that dark road, Thomas might end up in the crosshairs of a new threat.

5. The Mystery Will Be Solved

Although the present narrative around Vinny’s passing will pivot into a new storyline for Thomas, viewers will get closure regarding what happened to Vinny this summer. There’s speculation about Finn, Taylor, and even Wyatt becoming suspects! Also, could Vinny’s girlfriend become a new love interest for Thomas, now that Hope has made her loyalties clear? (Additional spoilers suggest that Vinny’s girlfriend could be Finn’s estranged sister, which would complicate Sinn’s wedding table planner, among other things!)

4. Paris Hesitates

If there’s anyone who shouldn’t fall for Quinn’s manipulations right now, it’s gotta be Paris. After all, she’s got the exclusive on Quinn’s latest deception! Yet after her pleading manages to delay Paris from running to Zoe, it’s likely that Ms. Fuller will work to ensure that Paris keeps her mouth shut. Paris doesn’t want to hurt anyone, and Quinn’s genuine remorse will have Paris unsure of how to proceed.

3. Busted!

A B&B teaser promises that Eric will walk in as Quinn and Carter embrace, forcing the two to recoil out of each other’s arms in shock. Now, will this confrontation come about naturally, or will someone (namely, Paris) arrange for it? As the chief gossip at Forrester Creations, Paris would know how to capitalize on a rumor as juicy as Eric catching Quarter red-handed — a rumor that would reach Zoe’s ears in no time!

2. Renewing Vows?

One particular B&B rumor suggests that Eric and Quinn will renew their vows this summer, and her fling with Carter will be revealed during the ceremony! (Now who would do that… Brooke?) It’s too early to say whether this will come to pass. But even if Quinn and Carter manage to explain this embrace (perhaps as a congratulatory hug, over his engagement?), Eric will take note of the pair’s body language and nervous energy. When word of their affair inevitably comes out, he’ll have a flashback to that embrace and know that it’s the truth.

1. Zoe Departs

However it happens, we know that Zoe will learn the truth about her friend and fiancé this summer. Kiara Barnes is set to leave B&B in July, meaning that episodes featuring Zoe will air into late August or early September at the latest. Will Ms. Buckingham fly into a rage, given how relentless she’s been in winning Carter back, or simply fly back to England? It seems likely that she will make a solemn vow to get even, before leaving L.A. There will be enough fallout from the Quarter fling with Zoe absent, anyway. Will Eric leave Quinn? Will Carter lose his job? It’s going to be a great summer on B&B!
