Bold And The Beautiful News Round-Up For The Week (August 8, 2022)

Bold And The Beautiful (B&B) speculation teases the month of January will be a tense one on the sudser. Steam’s secret tryst will be revealed, which will lead to showdowns between Thomas and Liam, Brooke and Steffy and the two Sister Wives. Also, Young And The Restless’ (Y&R) Kyle and Summer will show up in LA. Plus, Steffy will get the results of her paternity test, but who is the father? 12. Has Quinn Learned Her Lesson?

Now that Eric and Quinn have reunited, their life won’t be all martinis and roses. Queric has overcome a lot to be together and they’ll revel in their love. But after being kicked out of Eric’s house for weeks because of her meddling, will Quinn finally have learned her lesson? Can she really settle down with Eric and stay out of other people’s business?

11. Zoe Fired?

Speculation teases Ridge will catch wind of Zoe’s interference in his job offer to her sister Paris. He’s not going to like it when he finds out Zoe convinced her sister to turn down the job, and it could even lead to her termination from Forrester Creations. He’ll feel as though Zoe undermined his decision and he’ll toy with the idea of letting her go.

10. Paris Stays In LA

Speaking of Zoe’s sister, rumor has it she’s going to stick around LA. Part of the reason will be Zende’s interest in her. But she’ll also decide she’s not willing to let her sister push her around any longer. After she tells Ridge she’s taking the job he offered her, she’ll triumphantly inform her sister that she’s stuck with her at Forrester, whether she likes it or not.

9. Steam’s Secret Is Out

Liam will come clean with Hope and Steffy will do the same with Finn, meaning their dirty little secret will be laid bare for all to see. The consequences from Steam’s one-night stand will be tenfold, affecting many others. But the two main people who will suffer when the secret is revealed will be their significant others.

8. Thomas And Liam Faceoff

Thomas will not be the least bit surprised when he hears that Liam cheated on Hope with Steffy and the two men will faceoff in January. Liam will tell Thomas he better not think this is his chance to go after Hope. The flip-flopper will firmly believe Hope is going to forgive him, and they will be able to put the whole incident behind them. Thomas will tell him his wife finally sees him for the waffler he truly is and that he knew Liam could never stay loyal to Hope.

7. Sister Wife Showdown

Hope recently remarked to Thomas that she and Steffy were getting along famously these days, considering how many times they’d been at odds in the past. She said she believed they had a mutual respect. But the friendly situation between the two Sister Wives is about to take a drastic turn for the worse when Hope challenges Steffy about her affair with The Waffler.

6. Brooke Confronts Steffy

Another tense confrontation that will take place in January will be between Brooke and Steffy. Speculation teases Brooke will be stunned when Hope tells her Liam betrayed her with Steffy and that Steffy is pregnant. Brooke will then march over to Steffy’s cliff house and put her on blast for sleeping with her daughter’s husband. The moment should be rife with irony, considering how many happy marriages Brooke destroyed over the past 33 years.

5. Ridge Supports His Daughter

Brooke’s husband Ridge won’t feel quite the same way his wife does. He’ll be slightly disappointed in Steffy for sleeping with Liam, but he’ll also understand. After all, Ridge was the original B&B waffler and cheated on Taylor with Brooke many times over the years. Ridge will also be excited that he’s going to have another grandchild and his daughter’s going to have a sibling for Kelly.

4. Paternity Test

Steffy will head to her doctor for a paternity test as Tina Huang returns to the B&B canvas as Dr. Campbell. She’ll sit on pins and needles waiting for the results. Viewers know she’ll be hoping the child will be her boyfriend Finn’s, but it could just as easily turn out to be Liam’s.

3. Could One Test Lead To Another?

Some fans are speculating that the paternity test for Steffy’s unborn child could lead to another, more explosive paternity test, on Kelly. There’s been a debate among viewers for years now that Kelly isn’t Liam’s daughter at all, and that Bill is her father. Could something happen that will have Dr. Campbell questioning the results of Steffy’s first paternity test?

2. Sister Soap Crossover

Spoilers tease two Y&R characters will crossover to the B&B in January. Summer Newman and Kyle Abbott will head to LA to get the dirt on Sally, who is currently living in Genoa City and working for Y&R’s Lauren. Summer suspects Sally is after her job and she and Kyle are hoping to get any kind of ammunition they can use against her. Skyle will end up meeting with Dollar Bill, Flo and Wyatt, but will they provide them with the information they’re looking for to take down Sally?

1. Thomas’ Words Haunt Hope

Thomas’ words will come back to haunt Hope in the coming weeks. He asked her recently why Liam hadn’t confronted him when he saw him kissing the mannequin. “You have a lot of faith in him,” he told her. Thomas also mentioned that Liam spends a lot of time at Steffy’s house. Hope said it didn’t bother her and she trusted her husband. He hoped Liam was worthy of that kind of devotion. “You deserve someone who is committed to you and your well being.” It’s rumored that Hope will lean on Thomas a lot this month, but could it lead to them becoming more than just friends?
