7. Over The Years

Episodes during the “Abbott Family” theme week will date back as far as 1991 and as recent as 2019, and feature not only the Abbotts but characters that are connected to the family through marriage (or friendship), including Brad Carlton (played by Don Diamont), Katherine Chancellor (played by the late and great Jeanne Cooper), Jill Abbott (Jess Walton), as well as Phyllis (Michelle Stafford).

6. Brad and Traci’s Wedding

Travel back in time to the day when Brad and Traci said their “I do’s” in front of friends and family! This episode, which originally aired on January 11, 1991, will also profile Dina and Kay scheming against Jill while poor Nikki will struggle with her drinking problem. While some things do change in Genoa City, a lot can also stay the same!

5. John Abbott Regains Control of Jabot

Originally airing on September 17, 1999, Y&R revisits a classic episode where John Abbott regains control of the Jabot reigns, and Jack feels content to revel in his own successes. 4. Jack Proposes to Phyllis

Wednesday’s episode features a classic, circa September 10, 2001, where Jack gets down on one knee and asks Phyllis to be his wife (spoiler alert … she says yes). In other Y&R flashback drama for the day, sibling rivalry goes to the next level when tensions heighten between Ash and Traci.

3. A Tearjerker

Grab the tissue box and a pint of ice cream because Thursday’s show is sure to be a real tear-jerker. June 4th episode will bring out the ugly cry in all of us, as the Abbotts mourn the loss of their dad, John. Originally airing on August 24, 2006, even though it’s a rerun, it’ll still be heart-wrenching (yet oddly enjoyable) to watch.

2. Fisher Family Drama

In addition to the Abbott clan, Y&R fans will be privy to a little bit of the Fisher family drama too, as Kevin and Michael will help Gloria battle for her rightful spot among the Abbott kids at John’s funeral, as both friends and family give their final respects to this important member of Genoa City.

1. Friday, June 5

Does anyone else wish they could rewind to 2019 at this point? Well, Y&R fans will get to do just that on Friday’s episode. It’s Christmas in Genoa City, with this episode originally airing on December 24th of last year. The Abbott family will be reminded of the true meaning of the season, thanks to Dina. Meanwhile, Billy keeps something hidden from his family, and Lola and Kyle celebrate their first, and as luck would have it, their last Christmas together. Things really do move swiftly in the Y&R … don’t they?
