Meghan Markle didn’t hold back on her birthday celebrations this year!
According to Entertainment Tonight, Meghan, Harry, and Archie escaped for a family vacation to Ibiza, Spain. They rented a private villa and spent six days on the island to celebrate Meghan’s 38th birthday. Naturally, they traveled with security, arriving in Ibiza on August 6th and returning back home on August 12th.
The exact details of their Ibiza plans are unclear, but Meghan has visited the island before, traveling there with her friend Misha Nonoo in 2016, so we’re sure she knows her way around the island. Buckingham Palace hasn’t commented on the vacation, but apparently, this is the first time Archie has been on a plane trip.
The secret birthday trip isn’t the first time the Sussexes have escaped on a private getaway! Earlier this week the couple shared never-before-seen photos from the Duke and Duchess’ secret trip to Botswana, which they took two years ago. The couple plans to return to Africa this fall for an official Royal tour where they will visit Angola, Malawi, and Botswana.
