General Hospital Spoilers For The Week (May 25, 2020)

The sad news for General Hospital (GH) fans is that the as of May 21 of this week, the soap opera has run out of new episodes due to the shutdown on production. There is a silver lining in all this, and that is fans get to re-experience some classic GH shows of the past! Below is an overview of what to expect in the land of Port Charles for the week of May 25, 2020.

9. Nurses Ball

For the next three weeks, GH will be highlight shows from the annual Nurse’s Ball, an event that raises awareness around HIV/AIDS. The week of May 25 will showcase reruns of the Nurses Ball, circa 2014 and 2015, featuring some characters from the past (looking at you Duke Lavery and Sabrina Santiago), as well as many beloved Port Charles residents that viewers still enjoy today.

8. Monday’s Show

On Monday, May 25, GH will rebroadcast a show that was first aired on May 18, 2014. It centers around that year’s Nurses Ball kickoff, highlighting an unexpected proposal! Musical numbers include the “Welcome” to the Nurses Ball performance by Liz Webber, Felix Dubois, Epiphany Johnson, as well as Sabrina Santiago. Dr. Liesl Obrecht also performs a piece from Cabaret.

7. Tuesday’s Show

On Tuesday, May 26, GH fans will revisit the May 9, 2014 show where Tracy and Luke take the next step in their romance. Meanwhile, Nikolas agrees to go to the Ball with Spencer (after some convincing). Musical performance includes Kiki Jerome, Lucas Jones, TJ Ashford, as well as Felix and Liz performing Pink’s “Raise Your Glass;” Eddie Maine (aka Ned Quartermaine) singing his heart out to Meatloaf’s “You Took the Words Right Out of my Mouth;” and Luke Spencer takes center stage to perform “I Am What I Am.”

6. Magic Mike Moment

Also on Tuesday’s episode, GH fans get to relive the 2014 Magic Mike moment from the Nurses Ball when Nathan West, Michael Corinthos, TJ, Lucas, and Felix join Milo to form the Magic Milo and the Magic Wands group, as they do a little striptease while dancing to AC/DC’s “You Shook Me All Night Long.” Certainly, a fun (and memorable) performance from the gala event that year!

5. Wednesday’s Show

More 2014 Nurses Ball fun! Originally aired on May 12 of that year, Emma will have Spencer begging for one more chance, while Nikolas learns that Britt still loves him. In other storylines outside performances, Scott will inform Lucy that she’s made a huge mistake by choosing Kevin! In hindsight … maybe Scotty was right?

4. Performances On Wednesday

Outside of the drama listed above, Nurses Ball performances from this Wednesday’s show include Brad Cooper’s rendition of “Broken Hearted” by Karmin, as well as the Icona Pop’s “I Love It” performed by GH’s Haunted Starlet’s group consisting of Maxie Jones, Molly Lansing, Sam Morgan, Lulu Spencer, and Kiki Jerome.

3. Thursday’s Show

As the week stomps on, a Nurses Ball episode from May 1, 2015, will be re-aired on Thursday, May 28. Fans get to relive Brad’s proposal to Lucas, while the truth around Hayden and Ric’s link to each other finally surfaces. Musical numbers spotlighted during this show include the “Welcome” to the Nurses Ball, with Epiphany, Sabrina, Felix, and Elizabeth in that performance, while Brad sings Bruno Mars’ “Marry You.” Audiences also won’t want to miss Liesl’s rendition of the iconic “99 Red Balloons” by Nena.

2. Friday’ Show

Ending off the first Nurses Ball week, fans will be privy to a show that originally aired on May 5, 2015. Storylines outlined in that episode include Duke Lavery’s plan to place a “hit” on Jordan while Spencer gets an unexpected visit from someone close to him. Last but not least, Liz will beg Nik to keep the truth about Jason hidden. Spoiler alert – the truth ends up being revealed anyway!

1. Musical Numbers For Friday

Nurses Ball performances to look forward on Friday’s show include Eddie Maine’s (aka Ned) rendition of the Queen hit “Crazy Little Thing Called Love,” as well as Spinelli’s performance of “It Might Be You” by Stephen Bishop. Lastly, fans will enjoy seeing Epiphany and Sabrina team up when they belt out “You’re Not Alone.”
