Celebrities are all over the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, a month-long campaign to raise money and awareness of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease. Those who are challenged have to donate $100 to the ALS Association or get showered with a bucket of ice and water and pass the challenge on to at least three other people. So far, the campaign has raised $10 million and celebrities might bear a lot of responsibility for that. We decided to take a look at some of the more famous celebrities who have taken the challenge, as well as some others who had a bit of fun with it.
9. Kerry Washington
Kerry Washington – who stars on the TV show “Scandal” – represented her cast when she took the Ice Bucket Challenge. She was showered with two ice buckets because her show received two challenges – one from Bob Iger, Disney’s CEO, and the other from “Grey’s Anatomy.” The new mother was really cute about the whole thing. Even though she bravely accepted the challenge, she couldn’t help but scream before they poured the two buckets over her head.
